What glue do you use?

If possible you could shape a new piece to replace the chunk missing and clamp it. That way the wood glue will be less likely to break. Or use the original piece and a little saw dust mixed with the glue and clamp it because lot of glue by itself could dry to be a little brittle. Hope the repair lasts tho!! Thanks for your content!!

Honestly even if you only went for the joints with that hammer you'd be pretty devastating. Smashing an elbow or a knee with that thing could make the knight inside unable to move the joint due to armor damage.

At a certain point I think it helps to just completely abstract away specific weapons. That's kinda what the TTRPG Icon does. The specific damage numbers are tied to the class you're playing, and more so represent how the class fights than what specific weapon they're using; the specific weapon can be left up to the player's imagination. But to give an example: The Stalwart class is a defensive class that fights methodically, so their attacks represent this by having a small damage dice but a larger fixed modifier (d6+4). Meanwhile the Vagabond is supposed to be a light and agile skirmisher that exploits vulnerabilities, high risk and high reward, so they have a large damage dice and a small fixed modifier (d10+2). This difference is then further emphasized with other mechanics, like how crits only double the dice portion of the damage and not the fixed portion, or how the fixed portion is often applied even if you miss. So in summary, the rules represent a fighting style or philosophy and not a specific weapon, which lets you be a lot more creative narratively.
